Your wedding day isn't a photoshoot, and I don't think it should feel like one.

My approach is a little bit of guidance when you need it and a whole lot of letting the day unfold naturally. The result? Honest, beautiful photographs of the people and moments that mean the most.

Hi, I’m Courtney, a photographer and storyteller based in Phoenix, Arizona. My roots are in photojournalism, and I believe there’s something beautiful in documenting life exactly as it happens.

My work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post and USA Today, and I was part of The Washington Post’s 2022 Pulitzer Prize winning Public Service team.

I’m for the spontaneous, the sentimental and the wonderfully imperfect. For couples who value connection over perfection and want photographs that feel like them.
